Brent is looking for people to fill vice president positions and other positions. If anyone is interested in this please contact Brent. The following were filled

Lion Tamer: Steve Sandy-alternate
Tail Twister alternate: Sharon

We are looking to fill the membership director position. This person filling this position would help get new members and keep members in the club.

Brent passed around pictures of the goat that his father bought for Haiti Med

CI Sport is the company we will be ordering our shirts through. Please see Brent for more information with sizing/pricing.

We are still planning on the Pancake feed at MSUM September 16.

Fishing Opener Weekend- Everything is a go for fishing weekend 2008!

Not only will we have coffee/muffins/water to hand out to fishermen, we will have lucky jigs to hand out to fishermen! We are still waiting to hear back from Bob 95 FM. Bob 95 has a VW beetle with flashing lights that we are hoping to use as an attention getter! Doug also suggested that they might be able to provide bobbers as well. Fishing begins at midnight Saturday May 10. We will have our regular monthy meeting at DH Bait on Hwy 10 to have practice setting up etc.
If anyone has ideas or would like to help out with anything please contact Sue Hauglid at mhaugs@hotmail.com

New Business

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Todd and Laura Hann from our club. They have found jobs elsewhere.

We discussed possibly contributing to the Lions Quest program, which is a school-based comprehensive positive youth development and prevention program that unite home, school, and community, to cultivate young people of strong character. It was decided that we would need someone more knowledgeable about the program, to come and speak to us about the program before making any decisions.

Vanessa was going to check back with Churches United to see about possible dates for us to help.

See you at our next meeting May 6th at Fryn Pan
