Agenda Topic:
Our charter celebration is Sunday Oct 28 at 2pm at Courtyard by Marriot. Invitations for the event have already been sent and Brent is now receiving rsvps for the event. Fundraising in preparation for this event continues. If you have any ideas or would like to help, please contact Brenda (287-4511) or Brent.
Agenda Topic: Brent informed us of a possible Habitat for Humanity opportunity. He will find out more of the details and let us know.

Agenda Topic: Brenda showed us the scratch off tickets she ordered in order to get our fundraising started. Also, she is collecting donations for the silent auction at our charter celebration. If you have donations for the silent auction, fundraising ideas etc, please contact Brenda.
Agenda Topic: William Tomhave, professor of Mathematics at Concordia College, was our speaker for the evening. The MN School Board Association has set up sub-groups in each city in MN examining public education. Mr. Tomhave spoke about what is right about public education in MN and also highlighted many of the programs in the Moorhead Public School system that have received recognition for their excellence.
